The Kid's Arts Academy is a creative arts group for 4-11year olds. All of our activities are designed and led by teacher, author of educational literature and artist Hannah Pearson who uses her experience to deliver the inspiring creative activities.

The objective of the Academy is to provide the opportunity for children to develop their artistic skills. Whilst learning new artistic techniques the children are also taught how to develop their ideas and in doing so make their imaginations become a reality.

At the heart of all of the Kid's Arts Academy's activities there is a strong emphasis on:

• developing each child's imagination
• exploring and developing different creative techniques
• exploring how different materials can be used
• developing their vocabulary and confidence to discuss each other’s work and develop their ideas
• practise ways into planning and developing their ideas, and reflecting on the progress of their work
• listening to and sharing opinions on how to approach creative projects as a team
• create further opportunities to provide other ways in to learning.
