Art Clubs 4 - 15yr olds Full day 10AM - 3.30PM Half day 10AM - 12.30PM or 1PM - 3.30PM At the Kids Arts Academy we like to provide the opportunity for children to work to a larger scale than they probably do at school. We also like to work using a combination of different materials and processes and do so in both 2D and 3D.
The art groups are divided into two different groups. We have a group for 4-11yr olds that runs every day of the school holidays throughout the year and an Advanced Art Group that is for children up to 15 yrs which runs every Thursday of the school holidays.
Our Advanced Art Group is still focused on having fun but the activities are just slighltly more technical. We explore the use of different materials such as acrylic paints and inks, more advanced and focused drawing techniques in pencil and ink. We may also spend the whole day working towards completing one piece of work.
Cooking Clubs 4-14 yr. olds Full day 10.30AM - 3.30PM Half day 10.30AM or 1PM - 3.30PM
Whether we're making fudge brownies or Chimichangas our Cooking Club is absolutely awesome fun. If they're staying ofr the full days your child will make one sweet and one savoury dish each day and they then take home their creations at the end of the day (although we cannot guarantee that they won't have been sampled by your child at some stage!) Please let us know if your child has specific dietry requirements. Ingredients are provided and included in the cost.
We run our cooking group for 4-7yr olds on Monday and Friday of each school holiday and our cooking group for 8-14 yr olds on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please note all our age groupings are flexible so you can still book in siblings and group bookings onto any of the days, but the majority of the children in the Tues - Thurs groups will be aged 8-14yrs.
During the term time we run our Saturday Clubs from our Ofsted registered venue - King Edward VII Lower School in Crosspool.
Art Club (4-11yrs) 1PM - 3.30PM :
At our Saturday Club we run fantastic activities, some of which span across a few weeks to allow the children more time to develop a project. This club is currently just running from the King Edward VII Lower school site and costs £12.50 per session or a reduced rate for a whole half term booking.
Cooking Club (7-13 yrs) 1PM - 3.30PM:
For our upcoming Saturday Clubs for cooking we'll be making a whole array of delicious delights that are great fun to make. This club is currently just running from the King Edward VII Lower School Site and costs £12.50 per session or a reduced rate for a whole half term booking.
ARTY TOTS TODDLER GROUP - Pre-School aged children
Our Art group for pre-school aged children is brilliant fun and quite messy! If you'd like your child to get arty without the mess at home come along to one of our Arty Tots sessions and let them get crafty with us- each child can attend a free taster session.
This group is currently running from Hassop Station Cafe - 10AM -11AM or 11.15AM -12.15PM. £4.50 per child.

CHILDCARE VOUCHERS
Our Crosspool venue is registered with Ofsted on the Voluntary childcare register which means that we can accept childcare vouchers for attendance at the Kids Arts Academy at King Edward VII Lower School in Crosspool.

We are part of the Count Me In Scheme which enables children who receive free school meals to attend our holiday and after school clubs and be paid for by the Council via your child's school.
